The JT Fortin Foundation for Autism was established to help the growing autism community.
Our focus has been on safety and education.
We established a Swim Scholarship to help people with autism become safe in the water.  We are providing autism training, so teachers/first responders can best serve their autism students/community.  We are donating Sensory Equipment and Assistive Technology to Special Education Departments to help children meet their challenges head on and thrive.  We have also established a Family Grant fund to help autism families meet the needs of their loved ones with autism.
We spread awareness, not only of autism as a disorder but awareness of the human needs of our loved ones with autism. We promote inclusion and empathy as a must to help those with autism to feel the love, kindness, patience and understanding of the human spirit!!

Swim Therapy and Water Safety with  Swim Angelfish

We are very excited to announce the JT Fortin Foundation Scholarship for swim lessons at Swim Angelfish .
The Swim Whisperers Swim School provides private swim lessons for children with Autism, physical difficulties and sensory challenges.  You can apply for the Swim Whisperers Swim School scholarship at and check out the other programs and camps they offer.
Every dollar received helps our Foundation enrich the lives of those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Whether it is providing access to services, aiding in the transition to adulthood, or supporting one of our many Lifestyle Programs, your donation helps those with Autism to live the fullest lives possible!
Autism Training for Teachers and First Responders
We have been sponsoring custome designed autism trainings for First Responders and Teachers.  These training sessions are essential so the teachers and first responders can understand how to best serve their students with autism and those in the growing autism community.
